Hello, I have a 1997 challenger 1800 w/ twin 110 rotax engines. I recently had the port engine not turn over when atempting to start. After changing the battery, starter and celenoid...it worked for thirty minutes..then went back to not turning over. When depressing the start button..it gives off one click/clunk.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your prompt reply! Turns out the starter was engaged as a result of a faulty cable running to the starter. Your response made me think...I replaced the cable, and now am off to enjoy the rest of the weekend....$422.00 in parts later...oh well ....I was probably do.

Glad ya fixed it! As for me, I will be stuck at work......
