BRP INTRODUCES NEW SEA-DOO 210 CHALLENGER MODELS, A REFRESHED 150 SPEEDSTER AND ADDS TOUCH SCEEN INFOCENTERS TO WAKE BOATS
Montreal, Quebec, July 14, 2011 – In 2012, BRP will introduce two new Sea-Doo 210 Challenger boat models and a modernized 150 Speedster with a refreshed top deck and the addition of BRP’s award-winning iTC (intelligent Throttle Control) system offering more options for all boating budgets. BRP’s Sea-Doo 210 and 230 WAKE boat models also take a leap forward in new technology with new touch screen Infocenters controlling operational functions including the BRP iTC system.
BRP's 2012 Sea-Doo boats deliver more versatility, more performance and more standard features which translate into superior value, greater peace-of-mind and a safer boating experience. All Sea-Doo boats are equipped with direct drive jet propulsion, the system that provides numerous benefits over traditional stern drives including: direct power for maximum responsiveness, faster time to plane, less draft for shallow water operation, added safety with no exposed sharp objects, and new, optional weedless system on select models.
New power options and iTC across the line for the Challenger family
The Challenger family defines the 2012 Sea-Doo boat line as fully equipped, versatile recreational runabouts filling every boating family’s need for a fun-filled day on the water. The new 210 Challenger and 210 Challenger S models are now available with a single Rotax 4-TEC 1.5l power package (in addition to the 210 Challenger S twin engine version) offering more choices in the popular 21’ (6.4 meters) boat category. The Sea-Doo 180 Challenger receives a substantial upgrade in 2012 with the addition of the revolutionary iTC system joining the 210 and 230 Challenger models to provide optimal convenience at the helm with functions such as ski mode, ECO mode, cruise control and docking mode.

The 180 SP joins the Sport family and touch screen Infocenters added to WAKE models
BRP’s 2012 Sea-Doo 180 SP joins the Sport family as the ultimate 18’ (5.48 meter) crossover boat offering versatility, fun and value. The new 180 SP features BRP’s iTC with ski mode, vibrant graphics with a wakeboard boat attitude, a folding arch tower, marine stereo with USB plug and custom-matched trailer. BRP’s 210 and 230 WAKE boat models both receive technological upgrades with the new Sea-Doo touch screen Infocenter that provides the driver touch screen control to nearly all of the boat’s operational functions including iTC, enhanced sound system and Wake Boost system. The 2012 Sea-Doo Wake Boost system has been reengineered and relocated into the stringer design of both the 210 and 230 WAKE models (210 WAKE = 600 pounds/272 kilograms & 230 WAKE = 1400 pounds/635 kilograms) creating more storage space and ability to better fine tune wake shapes. Both WAKE model’s forward swept, folding arch tower accessories have been upgraded in 2012 with swivel board racks, adjustable halogen light bar and four tower speaker system (part of the WAKE models 10 speaker sound systems).

Speedster family sees popular Speedster 150 receive top deck redesign and iTC
BRP’s most popular boat – the 150 Speedster – will feature a bold new look in 2012 with two vibrant color options, Lucky Green and Orange Burst highlighting the newly redesigned top deck elements. The 2012 150 Speedster joins the modern Sea-Doo product family with BRP’s “flowing facet” design style and receives the advanced iTC system offering the driver customizable power delivery modes. The new 150 Speedster joins the 200 Speedster in the legendary Sea-Doo Speedster family delivering high-performance styling and industry-leading power-to-weight ratios for an exhilarating boating experience.

Nice to see the new line up, including the new Speedster 150. I just bought an unused 2010 (which appears identical to the 2011 model) early this month and I see they have updated a few things. I still prefer my red one though...
I will get it in the water tomorrow in Croatia! Looking forward to it...
Paul.
PS : I wonder if it will be possible to upgrade the older models with iTC?

Thanks I greatly appreciate the feedback and the compliments. I would recommend Perry Performance Group, ask to speak with Glen Perry, let him know I referred you over there. Keep me posted on how it goes in the talks.first off wanted to tell you Kevin, i love this site. youve done a fantastic job and over night ive become a massive seadoo fan! prior i was all about Yamaha, but the desgin of seadoo cant be beat. Im located in Miami Florida.
It is very difficult to value a boat without seeing it, but as I mentioned speak with Glen. I am sure he will be very fair if you are looking to trade it in.i want to be the first in the area with an order. also whats ur oppion on the value of my boat...? 2006 Seadoo Speedster 200 with maybe 150 hours. Blue hull with the additional tower w/o speakers.
