Engines out of sync

Does anyone have any ideas on twins running out of sync? At 3000 rpm both engines are the same. At 4000 on the left, the right is at 5000. At 6000 on the left the right is at 7500. I don't think it is a tach problem because I have to hold a lot of steering against the right engine at higher revs.I tried to explain to the local dealer who said they tuned them with the computer but that was at idle and did not fix the problem
Thanks

I believe there's a mechanical linkage adjustment that will solve this problem. my boat dealer did this for me (while out on the boat so it could be adjusted and tested in real time) and solved the exact same problem.

Thanks I'll try that
