Engine Oil - Rotax Engines (1996 Speedster)

I was looking for the Quaker State Synthetic PWC/Snowmobille Engine Oil as an alternative to the Bombardier Rotax oil but couldn't find it at West Marine here in the Bay Area. Instead, it carries it's own brand of synthetic oil tested for Rotax engines and others (stated on the label).
Here's my question: the oil label on the boat says do not use ashless oil but the West Marina synthetic oil label says it is ashless (less smoke, better for the environment, etc.), as is the Quaker State oil (I'm pretty sure). Does anyone have any experience using West Marine synthetic oil for Rotax engines and if so did you have any problems, issues, concerns?

We're talking 2 stroke oil here Doom, not for use in your 4 stroke 4 TEC. If you're not familiar with 2 strokes, they do not have crankcase oil like a 4 stroke engine. Fuel/oil must be mixed for a 2 stroke, and that oil is where its lubrication comes from. Whichever oil Bombardier recommends for your 4 TEC is what you should use, or a suitable equivalent.Sorry kind of new here , is this only good for 2 cycle engines or 4 as well?
