Just joined and wanted to say hi. Just bought a 1996 Seadoo Challenger 15ft 110hp. Put it in the water yesterday for the first time since I've had it and filled it full of water. Had three other people on the boat and went to the sandbar to spend the day. Noticed that there was water coming out of the drain hole on the deck. Bailed water out, engine would not start (I think the starter shorted out because it was under water). Got towed back in and upon inspection found the exhaust pipe gasket was completely rotted out. Got parts on order and was curious that it listed "U-Black Sealant". I orded that with my order because there was not discription and didn't know if it was something special. Curious as to where to put the sealant. On the bolts, gasket, pipe? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome! I would wait to see what kind of instructions come with the part if any. If nothing comes with it, it might be helpful to get a shop manual. Keep us posted.
