My 97 challenger 1800 is leaking around the fitting in the bottom of the tank.....will replacing the grommet do any good or do I need the fitting also?

More than likely the grommet will doo the trick.....My 97 challenger 1800 is leaking around the fitting in the bottom of the tank.....will replacing the grommet do any good or do I need the fitting also?
