Hello ...just checking in I bought a Speedster new in 1995 and sold it in 99 I have just bought ...at auction a 1997 Speedster that was caught in a tropical storm and wound up on the beach ...I am looking to see if anyone can steer me in the direction of a set of factory manual for a 97 ..It should be an interesting project...Thanks Brian

First after getting it home will be t o see what shape the engines and drives are in and I will move fwd from there!

Sweet pics! I have been to Lanier a couple of times but I prefer Oconee better. Oconee moderates their lake a little better on what is allowed to go on it, they don't allow house boats and things like that so you have less to worry about. Sometimes at Lanier the swells just get to big to handle with all of the big boats out there if you know what I mean.

Very true. I live in the Perimeter mall area, but I have friends that have houses on Lake Oconee so usually when I go I have a place to stay and keep my boat for the weekend.

Have you driven a Sea Doo with twins ?...How do you compare the acceleration between the twin Rotax and Mercury powered boats ...The 95 Speedster I had accelerated like a rocket!

No I have never driven one, I went to look at one up at a marine at Oconee but it was already sold so we didn't take it out on the water.

Just bought a 1995 Speedster from a friend. Have to fix it first, something wrong with the starboard transmission. Just ordered factory repair manual and factory parts manual. Cant wait to try it out. Any suggestions on a good place to buy parts on-line or otherwise???

I am just getting back into the Sea Doo thing,and I bought my 95 brand new in 95 Back then they were so new that Sea Doo was the only place for parts ...and they gouged people badly.Hopefully now there are other sources...Do a google search and see....but dont ask for transmission parts.....They are direct drives......
