I just picked up a 97 speedster and I need to know where the blower fan is supposed to be mounted. Currently it is just loosely resting between the starboard motor and some foam (I guess sound deadening) wall. I have the shop manual but there is no illustration or reference to it's proper location. I can't imagine laying at the bottom of the bilge is correct since it won't expell air, only circulate it.

It's in the drivers side vent hole, just behind the gas cap
