Looking at a 04 X that needs a total upholstery job done on it for 10k. Rest of boat looks good. They think the motor has around 190 hrs on it. Some questions I have are is it worth that, how many hours is the motors good for, does it have enough power to pull about anything you put behind it? Currently have a yamaha ls2000 but am looking for something with waketower.

They will put together a complete kit to fix up the seats and cushions.

As far as power, the X's came in 240efi and 250 Optimax. Both are strong and have good power. It's a bit different than a 240 prop, but you are already used to that. It's a great boat for 6-7 people and gear, that's what I liked as it will cruise nice loaded with people. Tows the tube great. We are not much for boarding yet, but I know the balast will help you out.

[STEPHEN X-20]

We love our X-20 and that sounds like a nice deal. It will pull anything, including a three passenger tube loaded with three adult men (big kids in large bodies) while loaded with passengers and gear. Let us know what you decide.

If you do purchase it, I suggest Hydroturf and a Place Diverter as upgrades on this boat if it doesn't already have them.
