I have a 1996 Sea Doo Challanger. This was my first Sea Doo boat and am looking to upgrade. I am thinking 2000 speedster. Is this a good boat? What do i have to look for? What is good about the boat?

It is a great boat, we had a one couple of years ago. I would recommend finding a couple and give them a test drive to see what you think. As far as what to look for, just make sure the hull is in good shape and it is mechanically sound. Keep us posted.

Just make sure you know what you are getting into with the 2000. It is a mercury powered boat. It is a totally different beast and can be very costly to do work on. You can buy the same boat with twin rotax motors if you go for a 98-99.
