This weekend I've sucked a stone In and took a chunk out of my prop Now cannot go faster than 10 mph lost my car keys into the depths of loch Ken (If you cannot afford to lose it make sure it floats) I'm staying at home this summer
Anyone got any idea what sort of job it is to change the prop vie read the service Manuel and cannot believe how complicated it looks for what but be a common accident?
A bad weekend

My car keys go into the glove box before I leave the dock. I too had the rock problem last year, but it didn't do the type of damage your describing. My dealer was able to remove the rock and file down the little damage done to the impeller.

It is really easy to remove the impellor. You can have it out in 30 minutes. Ship it off to SBT and get it refurbished for like 60 bucks. Even if you buy the tool, you are still under 100 bucks and like new. I would go ahead and throw in a new wear ring while you have it all apart.

ive managed to get a local yammaha jetski dealer to order and fit a new solas impeller £200 quid for the prop £100 for the stainless steel wear ring and £150 for fitting the new impeller looks good and makes a massive diffence making me thing the one fitted had been previously damaged does anyone know if changing the stock air filer for a kn one makes any differance ?
ive been into performace cars all my life and 10 extra hp on a 420hp m3 bmw isnt worth the bother but the forums are saying the stock air filter is very restictive has anyone experence?
also is messing with the supercharger worth the expense ?
