My 2010 Challenger 180SE has done 15h and today I noticed irregular RPM when at 5600RPM. there was a variation of 300 rpm jump up and down. when at full throttle or below 5000 rpm the irregularity does not happen. however I noticed that full RPM was slower to reach than usual
I appreciate your suggestions. Joe
irregular RPM between 5000&6000 rpm

Sounds like cavitation. Are you aware if you sucked up anything in there? It is possible that your wear ring is damaged and is causing these symptoms.

I today noticed some water leak (spraying) from the behind the exhaust while flushing the engine. the water is leaking from behind the yellow rubber gusket. I tried tightening the knot but could not find the right tool. I guess I should take it in for a proper check. Thanks for your reply
