Hoping to see if anyone can help us. Out boat was just in the shop getting the carbs worked on. Before we could get it back, our repair man was in a head on wreck with a drunk driver and he is laid up for a little bit. We picked our boat up- he just had not got it to the water to check it. We took it out, and the one engines ran pretty rough- we ran it for a while and it cleared up and started running good for a few minutes. Then it shut off when we slowed down to stop. Now, that engine won't turn over. Nothing. You can just hear clicks.
WE checked the spark plugs. They look fine. There was not gas in the fuel line when it stopped. There was in the other engine ( while stopped).. We checked the fuses in the fuse box and they all seem fine. We switched wires on the posts to see if the post was messed up and it started the other engine fine.
Any idea of where we can start? Thank you in advance.

The battery is good. Just bought a new one. One engine turns over fine.
