I just bought a 97 Seadoo challenger. There was water in the oil reservoir and the oil pump cable was rusted and not connected. The motor blew a hole in the lower block by the counterbalance. I want to purchase a replacement motor and I do not know where to buy a good and low price replacement. The motor is a single 787. Any help or suggestions on where to buy are appreciated!

you can go the SBT route but the reviews on their engines are not always good.
I suggest you go to http://fullboreonlin...adoo_engine.htm
they test the motor and it is a guarantee it will run. It is also cheaper than SBT and after 9/1 the company offers a discount for winter work.
email me at jimfishin@gmail.com. I am in the process of replacing a 787 on a 97 challenger 1800.
My buddy will do the work for you at his house of you are near NJ or NY.

Full Bore looks good, do you guys know of any Canadian re-builders with good reputation, say in Ontario?
A hundred years from now it won't matter how much money you have in the bank, how nice your car is or where you live.
What will matter is the influence you have on a child... and what kind of boat you drive!

At this moment, SBT is cheaper than either Fullbore or SES. I know many people will not touch SBT due to perceived quality issues, but I personally believe they are just as good as anyone else.
SBT is a volume shop, and therefore cannot afford to put the time into a rebuild like some of the other specialty facilities.
