I am new here. I own a 2007 Utopia 205 SE. I feel the shift lever is going to break when shifting. I have read others that had a similar issue. I have an idea what to do from other posts. Just trying to find out what - how the fix needs to be done. Is there a change in linkage? Someone added a spring? Thanks for any help and sorry for being duplicate. Otherwise it is a FUN boat! Thanks.
05/23/11 - Update - I took the shift cable off and man did the shifter move really smooth! The reverse gates themselves were locked up. I took them off and found the bushing and plastic washers were seized up and not letting the stainless steel move freely while tightened down. I am ordering new parts to replace. I am using a work around but not for any length of time. Hope this helps anyone else for troubleshooting their own issue of the shift problems.

Why does it shift so hard

Take a look at this post, http://seadoosportbo...hrottle-cables/. Most likely needs an adjustment.
