Hi does anyone know if there is any difference between the hull on a 2004 sportster and a 2008 150 speedster? Is the change from Sportster to Speedster in name only or is there differences between the two?Would there be a noticeable difference in power between a 150 engine and and a 215 super charged engine?I am considering upgrading from my sportster but want to know if the extra money will be getting a newer version of what I have or is there more. Thanks
sportster/speedster hull

I had a 2004 Sportster with the 215 HP supercharged intercooled engine. That 15' boat would do 59 mph on the water. I doubt the 150 HP can do that but you probably know top speed for that engine better than I do.
I liked the 230 SCIC engine so much, I moved up to a Challenger with twin 230 HP engines. It won't do 59 mph but only about 54 mph but that's plenty fast for a 23-1/2' boat that can hold 12 people.
Sorry I can't answer your hull question.

I am not sure what my top speed is as my speedo has never worked but I am sure you are right I dont think it is anywhere close to 59 mph
