it had a surging problem on the last ride last summer and when i pulled it out of winter storage the start/stop button went out and the battery light was on when it was running.so i keep my fingers crossed and hope it isnt too much.

newbie from nor-cal here. wanted to say hi and whats up? i got 2 96 xp's. one is in the shop right now. matter of fact im waiting for a call from them as i write this to see how far i gotta bend over! it had a surging problem on the last ride last summer and when i pulled it out of winter storage the start/stop button went out and the battery light was on when it was running.so i keep my fingers crossed and hope it isnt too much.

Ouch, that does not sound pleasant at all, but certainly welcome to the group. I hope its not too far to bend and you get out on the water soon. We love to see pics!
