ALASKA!!! Wow! How long is the boating season up there? Well, welcome to the forum, and I hope we can help with any questions you have.

How far north are you? Do you still have ice on the lakes? I am in northern Ontario and we are still iced in

The boating season for lakes would be on average may through late august or september. And this forum has already helped out tremendously. I'm new to the recreational side of boats. I work for a spill response group in the cook inlet area and we run boats in the 24' to 48' range.
Logans im still iced in as well with about a 1' of ice left on most lakes, but my boats shipping up from seattle in about two weeks so i hope it will be clear by the time it get here...im about 90 miles south of anchorage..
I'm hoping to run this boat for the summer and flip it. upgrade to a speedster 200 or 2008 wake.... we shall see how this goes...
