Earlier this year took it out and did fine.
Today took it out and the passenger side engine is acting strange..
Take off is sluggish.
First of all..The engines rev normal when starting and sitting still.
When starting to give the engine some gas the engine starts to rev correctly about to 4700-5k rpms(but takeoff is still hurting), then the engine JUMPS to 7200, sometimes almost hitting rev limiter and bouncing a little. Even when the engines are running at about 7k (which is where it generally runs at top speed) the boat only gets to about 40mph. Which is about 10mph less then it generally does, and takes twice as long to get there. I have changed the sparks with new ones, Made no difference. I looked under the boat to the impeller and it looks good, i also looked from outside and it looks ok too.
The compression in all engines are the same as when i bought the boat and the same as when it was running good.
Any suggestions? There is not really a mechanic around to check it out.

You have checked about everything that I would recommend checking, so I know this is not the answer you want to hear but it might be time to find a mechanic to take it too.

I checked the impelled by takin it off and the wear rings and impelled are perfect. I looked and the rave valves had some carbon build up. I cleaned them up but the diagram / rubber part isn't acting like it should. Its stick in the down position. I havent taken it out again yet. Could that be whats causing the problem? What else is there to check that's easy? There isn't mechanics close by so.it would be a pretty gooddrive to get it looked at.

Also. There wasn't a spring on one of my rave valves. And by stuck in down position I mean it doesn't flex at all like it should. On The other engine there was a rave valve that had similar issue but that engine is fine. Should I order the spring and bellows for the ones that aren't working correctly?

Go through these posts, http://seadoosportbo...&sa=Search#1267, as we have had many "rave valve" discussions. See if any of those help. Keep us posted.

One motor went great!!! Then came the second motor, the one with the rpm difference- I pulled the first bellow out and it has a chunk missing!!!!!!! What do u think my next step should be?? I don't even know what to take apart to look for the chunk!I have fixed the search link in the post above, sorry about that.
