The steering cable is probably seized, you will need to replace it.Hey guys i just bought a 97 seadoo speedster it has very low hours on it and has not been used in at least the past two years i have gotten everything working on the boat except the engines are the idleing well when i back the sticks all the way back the engines cut out. i think the cause of this could be the fuel in it is two years old and is low. Have any of you had a problem like this and do you think the carbs need to be rebuilt for it to idle well. The last thing is my steering is frozen i have disconnected the steering cable and by hand can move the jets back and forwith. Therefore i think the cable is my problem does anyone have any ideas about to free it up.
