Hi, I have just bought a 2005 180 Challenger with the 215HP motor which is my first Jet Boat. I have been more used to outboard boats but decided to take the plunge with a Jet Boat after many hours researching them. My main reason being one of safety, I have two kids and my wife didn't want a prop.

I haven't used the boat yet, still waiting for it to be delivered from the mainland, I live in Jersey in the Channel Islands UK. Really looking forward to giving it a spin. I have already ordered a full set of Hydroturf after reading a few threads on here.

It can get really choppy but we tend to stick to the bays that are more sheltered. We have a big tide here that can move more than 45', so boating can be a challenge depending on the state of the tide.

I intend to fit a GPS/sonar to help me keep an eye on the rocks that appear as the tide goes down. Does anyone know of a decent unit that I could install in the boat? The console is quite busy so there isn't a lot of space for a large screen.
