New Vinyl Seat Covers?

I was glad to find this link. I currently have a '99 Speedster and previously owned a '95 Speedster. The seats and armrests, etc. on my boat are extremely faded and sun damaged. Has any one ever looked into replacing the vinyl?
Thanks in advance!

The silver fabric on the arm rests and bewteen cushions is in excellent shape on my Doo, but the yellow was trash. Don't know why unless it is a different quality material.
You are going to find that the OEM covers are NOT cheap, even the little ones. Of course my new covers don't have any logo on them, but I'm cool with that. All I use to maintain the seats now is some 3M Vinyl Cleaner and Protector, sold at Wally World....

Tiggerman,Thanks...... I would not undertake the job til the end of the season, or pre-season like I did.

Where did you find the OEM vinyl seat covers? I called World of Power Sports, but they can not get them.
Thanks in advance!

Tiggerman,I think you missed it: I bought the fabric, took the old stuff off and made patterns, cut them out, sewed them up and reinstalled them. There is nothing OEM about them except the frame and cushion.
I was actually looking at an older post of yours before you decided to do the custom vinyl ...
"Any older DOO'ers reupholster their seats yet? Thinking about it? I'm about to DOO it to mine. The vinyl on the seat bottoms is beginning to rot, partly due to the previous owner failing to care for the interior. The seat backs are faded and stained on the top as well. I've got marine grade vinyl (bright yellow) on the way to my door, and am ready to get started. Go on the World of Powersports website and price the seat covers for any of the Seadoo boats. Pricey, aint they?!?!"
You had mentioned World of Powersports. I gave them a call but they can not get the covers. I guess I was just wondering if any one knew where I could get the OEM covers. Your custom job looks nice, but I think it would be more work than I want to take on.

Gotcha.... the prices are there up to the 98 model on WOPS. The covers are not cheap, and may have already been discontinued. I think you may find that if you take it to an upholsterer, it's not going to be much cheaper. I did mine myself because im a cheapskate. The hardest part was getting the seats out of the boat. The rest was gravy. After I took the old covers off, I ironed them out flat . Those that needed to be sewn, I ripped out the old seams and did the same. An ordinary every-day sewing machine did the rest ( with my mom-in-law at the helm).....going back on was as easy as stretching the new cover out to eliminate wrinkles and stapling back onto the frame.Tiggerman,I think you missed it: I bought the fabric, took the old stuff off and made patterns, cut them out, sewed them up and reinstalled them.
