I bought a 1996 Bombardier/Seaddo Challenger. This is a gret little boat and run to run.
I am looking to replace a few items on it that no longer work. I am pretty handy with a wrench and get a kick out of doing things myself.
My first task is to replace the speedometer. I've discovered that these are very difficult to obtain because those guys at Bombardier no longer sell them and it looks like they've been discontinued in many of the places I've looked. So now I may have to retrofit it with another kind of unit which would likely mean replacing the other gauges so they match and fit in the panel.
Does anybody have any suggestions where I could go to find what I need?

Long story short, I was going to start a 1996 Challenger project. Alas "Jacknuts" never got a fresh copy of the title as promised. I think he just expected me to tow it home, at which point it would have turned into an "it's your problem" type thing.
Got quite a few NOS parts over here that you might want to buy. Also have used parts from the boat as well. Engine, jet drive, ect, ect. Are you sure the speedometer is gone? It could be the sensor on the transom...got one of those too
PM me.

The speedometer's needle is detatched inside the unit. I'm not sure if the sensor is not working or not. This little boat is fun and runs great, and parts at this time are exrtemely hard to find. Thanks Bombardier (ASSHOLES). This boat is still an awesome watercraft.
I would entertain an offer for the parts for sure as I'm sure that I'll use them in the future because I will most likely hand this boat down to my son when I'm ready to upgrade. So let's talk and see if we can come to an agreement.
Thanks so much for getting back to me.
Verl cool.
