Went to the Cincinnati boat show today. And the only see-doo I see see is a single jet ski a marina is selling. Three lakes with unlimited horsepower within 1.5 hours, the Ohio River, and the huge lakes of Cumberland & Norris withing 4/5 and 5 to Lakes Michigan and Erie. What a marketing blunder!!

But I have cabin fever! Spring get here first!

Sea Ray, Bayliner, Cobalt, Honda, Yamaha (jet skies), 2 luxury pontoon makers, and a house boat maker was there (to name a few). With a challenger and a speadster that will both fit in a garage (what a great selling point) and all the jet skies, it just does make sense. Guess I will continue to be a novelty in area. I only saw another sea-doo boat on Caesar Creek on Labor Day.

I live just south of the river in Northern KY. The boat show in Cincy has gotten smaller and more pathetic every year. i actually thought this year was a slight improvement. Last year was the worst ever. The Sea Doo options are very limited every year. There are only a couple very small Sea Doo dealers around the entire tri state area. I wish there was a bigger dealer that would bring more to the show.

There is only the dealer in Florence and one in Columbus that I know of. I actually went all the way to Port Clinton for my boat last fall.

What do you have? And have you taken it to the river?

[Seadoo Challenger 180 2006]

The Boat Show in Bham Ala.had lots of boats but only one 210 challenger. Lots of PWC and all mods of Yamaha jet boats but only one seadoo boat and it was tucked in a corner. Thats why everyone gives me strange looks on the water, they never seen a seadoo boat. Oh and can someone stop that groundhog i am ready to hit the water.

I have been away for a bit. I have a 98 Speedster. I goto the river a couple times a year. Most of the time when I wanna go out around here, I goto East Fork Lake. Most of my time on the boat though is road trips to either Norris lake in TN or Lake Cumberland.

Haven't been out to East Fork. But my boss has a house and a dock down on Cumberland, so I may have to "just show up" with a bottle of bourbon.

Maybe we can hang out sometime this year. I would like to check out a challenger up close and go for a ride on one. I could come up there. I wanna check out your lake anyway.
