I am a proud owner of 2010 Sea Doo Challenger and recently relocated from Chicago to Sunny Miami.
I am planning on installing a chartploter with a sounder so I could use as a fish finder as well as being able to the see the contour of the bottom.
I was wondering if I could use the existing In-Hull transducer or if I need to install another transducer, and if so what type would be best (In-hull vs. Transon mounted).

Kevin, I also am installing an in-hull transducer for a 597ci hd di gps/fishfinder. The link you attached takes me to an error page. Any information would be great. Thanks.

Just installed a. Lowrance Elite 5 unit. This has the rear transducer that we mounted behind the boat. Also order a Tallon mount for the dash so the unit can easily be removed when needed.
