Has anyone on this site ever had a problem with freeplay in their steering wheel? On my seadoo, when I am travelling straight at high speed, the steering wheel can be turned from straight to about 45 degrees left, with no resistance in the wheel and no change in boat direction. I have to turn it further than this to get any change in direction or feedback on the wheel. No problems turning right...

In our links section, there is a link to the 240 EFI manual, which has a section on adjustment of the steering linkage. I have heard of other Merc owners having this same problem.
1997 Seadoo XP 800 (sorry, at least it is a DOO!!!)
