hello
new to the forums
im looking at maybe buy a seadoo boat but i want one that can hold 5 people. looking at early 00 or late 90s models. witch ones should i be looking at and what should i look for when looking at them.

whats some things i need to look at when looking a some used ones.the one you should me is very nice, but it is a 2001 and allready has a new motor iin it. do the motors not last that long?

The main thing is water test the boat. When water testing the boat ensure the ensure the engine is running properly and thoroughly check the boat for any leaks (look in the ski, engine bay, etc.). If you find a boat you really like then for extra piece of mind have a local SeaDoo dealer/mechanic check the engine over. Walk the boat inside and out, check the condition of the hull and gelcote to ensure there is no damage.
These are typically very solid engines if they are well maintained. Not exactly sure why that boat has a new engine in it - it could be a variety of reasons.
