I would appreciate some help sorting out a recent issue on our 2006 Islandia, which up to now has been trouble-free. The starboard engine fires up no problem but now is running a bit rough (mild vibration, increased sound). Relative to the port side, the RPMs drop often by perhaps 1000-1500 then surge back. As the RPMs come back there is appropriate thrust associated with it. The power is still there and I think the top speed is probably unchanged, but I have not tested this as I am babying it until I get a sense for what might be wrong. There has been no "check engine" light or overheating. The impeller area appears clear and I do not perceive any damage there. I intend to take the boat in for evaluation but all the shops are backed up by several weeks and I am leaving on a boating vacation in 10 days (great timing, right?). Ugh.
Thank you in advance for your empahty and any attempts to advise.

Cullen,
Sorry I missed this post but it does sound like something my be blocking which could cause the issues you are experiencing. Have you had chance to have this looked at by your dealer yet? If so, what did they find - please keep us posted?
