Hook up 2nd in parallel and charge/use both at same time (very easy install). In this case hook up trickle charger to one or both batteries?
Hook up 2nd with additionsl 1-2-1/2-off switch? In this case I know trickle charge them separate.
Ps...I have a double trickle charger already and like option 1 because easy.
Thanks

Anyone have any pics of Challenger with dual batteries? How did others wire up second battery? Would it just be easier to invest in a battery with the Largest Reserve Capacity do less chance of radio draining?
So I should NOT just add another battery in parallel without adding other switches, etc? Anyone try this? Battery Shop said that Is not an issue...just doubles capacity.

TAKE A LOOK ON MY 2008 CHALLENGER SE .ITS EASY!! FIND OUT FROM EBAY A (GROUP 24-SAME AS FACTORY INSTALLED- IF I REMEMBER)BATTERY MARINE BASE WITH INOX STUDS.ALSO YOU WILL NEED A SET RED AND BLACK SAME TYPE WIRES (YOU CAN READ THE TYPE FROM THE FACTORY INSTALLED WIRES) AND A DOUBLE MAIN BATTERY SWITCH(I TOOK ONE WITH LOCK FOR EXTRA ANTITHEFT DEVICE).INSIDE THE SWITCH BOX THERE IS A DIAGRAM HOW TO HOOK UP THE WIRES.IF YOU LIKE ANY HELP I HAVE KEPT THE DIAGRAM TO POST IT IF YOU LIKE. YOU CAN HAVE ONE BATTERY FOR THE RADIO WHILE STOPPING AND THE OTHER ONE FOR THE ENGINE !THE RADIO BATTERY I ALWAYS CHARGING WITH A TRICKLE CHARGER WHEN THE BOAT IS OUT NOT TO GIVE A HIGH LOAD TO THE ALTENATOR CHARGING IN THE POSITION (ALL) THE TWO BATTERIES. THE DUAL BATTERY SYSTEM WORKING WITHOUT PROBLEMS FOR TWO SUMMER SEASONS NOW!
WARNING NOT EVER CHANGE THE SWITCH WHEN THE ENGINE IS WORKING!
Question, can you dripp or screw into the deck below where you put the 2nd battery?

The 150 Speedster doesn't have much room for a second battery. I'm thinking of adding a battery from a Sea-Doo RXP, or maybe an even smaller one from an old XP. I just wouldn't charge the second battery while the engine is running.
