On my multi meter, I set it to 200k ohm range and when tested the meter gives 1.5. Can someone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.
I'm using one of these meters to test:

Did the meter come with any operating instructions? I haven't used one of these meters so I don't have much light that I can shed.
It did come with instructions to test resistance and I followed them carefully, always ending up with 01.5 reading.

I would recommend calling the manufacturer of this meter to see if they can provide any additional information to you. Keep us posted.
I found out that reading means 1500 ohms. I did another test suggested by dropping the sensor in boiling water and testing for continuity. I did get a continuity reading from it. Does that mean its not faulty? So farm I've tested the thermostat, sensor, checked hoses, oil and found no leaks. What else can I check that can be causing the P1116 code?

Unfortunately it might be time to take it to your nearest dealer to let them run some diagnostics on it. Keep us posted.
Thing is that the nearest dealer that services Sea-doo boats are 3 weeks backed up right now. The other dealer is a good distance away. The boat has been sitting in my yard for 2 weeks already trying to figure it out.
