I was out on the lake and sucked up a rock in the impeller I was on the other end of the lake I wasn't able to get the rock out in the water so I drove it across the lake at a idle no acceleration at all just a idle. I was able to get it on the trailer and I dropped the impeller intake screen and there was a medium rock stuck in the impeller I was able to pry it out with a screw driver . The impeller has a ding in it where the rock was stuck and all of the local boat dealers are telling me its the wear ring . I have had it on the water once after the rock incident and noticed no power and the engine caveating or over revving . With no hole shot power . I have ordered a new wear ring but I am worried about the impeller also .
Wear ring or impeller or both

I would try the wear ring first - see if this resolves your problem. If not then you can go down the path of getting a new impeller. If you have to get a new impeller I would recommend getting an aftermarket one from Solas, http://www.solas.com/newweb/index.asp
