Hello everyone. I'm new to this post. Just bought a 2010 180 Challenger 2 weeks ago. Rolled over the 10 hour mark this weekend. Love the boat so far. A little tricky docking and undocking. My wife will leave the dock if I push the boat off first but makes me dock it. For those of you with more experience, I am only seeing about 7600 rpm max but still have 1/4 throdle movement left but no more RPM. Expected to see 8000+. Is this a time limited thing by the engine computer or is this all this engine will do?

I'll assume you have the supercharged engine, at sea-level you should probably see close to 8000rpm
as you go up in altitude you will lose a bit (i lost 150 rpm from lakes at different altitudes). Of course if you arn't supercharged you're at max rpm. You could repitch to get closer to 8000 or buy a different pitch impellor. If you are at sea-level and supercharged then I would go see your dealer, have them put a tester to confirn the tach is accurate. If it was me I would also use a gps to check my top speed to see what it's running too. Good luck
