My plastic latches on the front seats have worn out. Has anyone come up with a better replacement?

I am still having an issue with the front seat flopping around (although not as much since installing a place diverter). Has anyone upgraded their seat latches? If so, please post pics.

I haven't seen anyone do a mod like this yet but you might be able to find something that will do the trick at West Marine
Keep us posted if you come up with a viable solution.

I have upgraded mine. I used a brass catch with adjustable tension ball bearings. I will get some photos and post them. No more front seat opening when the waves get up there.
