We have been thoroughly happy with our 215hp even though we would like to have the 255hp - it has plenty of power to do everything we need it to do in this boat. I would assume the 155hp horsepower would be the same in the 150 Speedster. It is adequate horsepower to do everything you want, the larger HP option is for those that just want that additional "umph"!

Personally I would go for the 215hp, but that is just me - you will have to decide if it is worth the extra money. When we bought our 08 180 Challenger the only option was the 215hp now they offer a 255hp, if the 255hp would of been offered then we would of opted for it. My point though is there will always be something bigger and better that comes out, so you will have to decide what is the best fit for you.

Yea.. Everyone I have talked to says that 155hp should be more then enough.. Especially being that I have never really been out on anything with even that much power.. I dont think any of the boats I have driven/rented even had more then 100hp lol.. I was told that the 215 and 255 really dont do anything much for the lower end but rather just give you more mph at the higher end.. But then again I also read that you can feel the difference between the 155 and 215 as soon as you give it some gas.. I guess everyone has their opinion.. Will have to see what I can get the final prices and see if its worth it.. I was pretty content at paying the 15k for the 09 155.. maybe i will see if i can get teh 08 215 down to that price and then make the deal..
