I just got a used Mpem from ebay today hooked it up and the boat started up. but when i installed it now I get nothing. I downloaded the shop manual it mentioned the spark plugs can cause problems with the MPEM if they are not the right ones, Does anyone know what to do to make this boat run?

Spark plugs maybe,they have to be resistor type [NGK ES8`S I believe] but check manual.Check all grounds,its unbelievable the amount of trouble they will cause.Good Luck
