Just bought an 09 180 SE. Has 4 hrs on it after the first trip. Steering wheel is about 15 degrees off with the boat going straight. Dealer said it is a "quick" adjustment, but he is an hour away. I also have a question about fuel. Dealer said not to run regular unleaded, that the mid grade (plus) would be ok. The tech that did the walk through with me said to run premium. The manual says 91 for optimum performance , but 87 is ok. Does regular unleaded cause problems such a engine ping?

Welcome to the website. We run regular unleaded in our 08 180 SE, I haven't noticed any issues thus far. I would say just for piece of mind it would be safer to run mid-grade. I don't think running premium is a must.
