Hi!
I have a problem with my Seadoo Challenger 180 (Year 2005).
When I run my boat, it happens occasionally that the oil light comes on and I get a long warning beep that don't stop until you turn off the engine. All this happens at 3500 rpm.
Anyone who got an ide why this happens??

Check the beep codes, http://seadoosportbo...ls-4tec-engine/, to see if this helps to identify any issues. If not it would best to let the dealer to run some diagnostics on it.

Thanks, but I have checked the codes and nothing match my problem.
I had a dealer check with the computer but he found nothing.
I recently had a service done and changed oil, filters, spark plugs and coolant. And this was because of the problem I discribed abow.
When I launched the boat this year I thougt it was fine, but after a couple of days the problem came back....
There are not many of this boats in Sweden so the dealers have not got much experience in this category of boats.

Try giving the BRP support number a call to see if they can provide any additional information:

Hi Peter,
I have this exact same problem now.
Engine starts and idles fine too which is confusing. Did you get to the root of the problem? I'd appreciate a quick reply - boat is in the shop now and the mechanics are totally lost :-/

maybe the pressure sending unit is working at some pressures....just a thought...thinking of what could cause it...but at 30 bucks...why not replace it

I've changed the pressure sensor, filter, oil, and had a look in the oil pump and it looks ok but the problem is still there...any ideas what else could be causing the problem?
