Hello
I have 2008 Islandia. I'm considering installing Cobra Jet Steering. My question is will this void my exteneded warranty? I have heard good things about this product any inputs.
Thanks
Paul

Typically any after market modifications will void your warranty. I would check with your local dealer to see what their thoughts are.

While the Cobra Jet Steering Fins are a fantastic addition to the Yamaha line of boats, they are completely unnecessary on the Sea-Doo's. This is my personal opinion, but I own both a 2006 Yamaha AR230HO and a 2005 Sea-Doo Utopia 185.
The low speed handling on the two boats is night and day. The Uboat is as close to a stern-drive of feel as you can get with a jet, where as the AR is nothing but an uncontrollable floating cork below about twenty five hundred rpm. Once the fins are added to the Yamaha they are a much better behaved boat at low speed.
Hope that helps.
