I'm new to jet boats, so I'd appreciate any help.
I have a 2000 Sportster LE that runs fine at idle and fast (6,000 - 6,500rpms). Unfortunately, that's all I have; slow and fast. HA!! If I try to accelerate from idle slowly, it hesitates/bogs down and tries to stall out - usually does in fact. I have to romp the throttle to and let it go straight up to 6,000rpms to run. I have no mid range speed. I'm thinking the carbs need rebuiling/cleaning. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Marcus

Thanks. I'm thinking it probably needs a carb rebuild regardless if it fixes all my problem or not anyway. I'm weary about trying it myself. I haven't messed a lot with 2 cycle or carbs for that matter, but I'm an ASE certified Automotive technician. I should be able to handle this, you think? HA!!
