Since I am not to elecitrically inclined, I thought I would post this to the forum :-)
Now that I have a stereo installed in my 98 speedster, I realized that I dont have a dedicated 12 volt hot to keep the presets always wired. Instead of running a seperate line that would always be hot all the way to the battery, is there an easier way?
I was wondering if I could just hook up an inline 9 volt battery (I know the stereo states to run the line to a 12 volt, but 9 might be close enough :-))? Or can you chain a few samll batteries together to make a 12 volt hot to keep the presets?
Thanks,
Jason

Grab a 12 volt test light and find a hot in the harness where you mounted the stereo. You are bound to find one that is hot all the time. If you have a diagram, that makes it even better. Your 9 volt idea would probably work though.....
