Hey guys,
I have a 2000 Challenger 1800 with the Merc 210. I bought this boat recently from a dealer with all the previous service and repair paperwork. The steering cables were replaced 2 years ago but the steering is rather stiff and sticky compared to other doos ive driven. I was just wondering where i should start in an attempt to assess and fix this issue. Could it be bushings? lubricant? cables put in too tight? any feedback would be much appreciated? Thanks

First thing I would check is the cables, like you stated it possible they are too tight or since they have recently been replaced they just haven't a chance to "loosen" up yet.
