Hey
I'm a new Challenger 1800 owner and I'm looking for any help or advice offered. I'm trying to get it cleaned up (or making plans to clean cause when it's below freezing its difficult to get motivated) for spring. I can't seem to figure out how to remove the sunpad.
I get it half way off the the surrounding velcro but it seems it is attached at the back by something other than the velcro and I'm uncertain if I should just pull it off. I would rather keep my good intentions resulting in damage to a minimum....It looks like rubber plugs sewn into the pad and going into the fiberglass. Any help and assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Hey thanks. I do plan on joining next month. I wasn't sure if a shop manual would cover things like pad removal. I've got a little time before I actually can do any maintenance anyway -- it's still a little cold in Ohio.

Sounds good, keep us posted on the removal. Yeah I would say cold is probably an understatement for Ohio, what keep you busy during the off-season -- do you do any snow-mobiling?
