Help with Speedster Wake!

Just seeing if anyone on this site has some idea what could be wrong with my boat. I just imported a 2007 Speedster Wake from the States to Australia last month. I took it out for its first run on the weekend and the right engine has an engine malfunction warning. It kicks over but drops from about 2500 revs at idle down to about 1500 and back and forth. I just wanted to see if anyone has any ideas as I had a report done before I bought the boat and it came back saying it was all OK.
Also about halfway through the day the speedo stopped working. Any ideas about this as well?
Any help would be appreciated, so I can give the mechanic an idea of what the problem may be so he can fix it up ASAP.

For the speedo -- it could be something as simple as a bad fuse.
By the way, welcome to the site -- glad to have you here!
