Same here I have a 2008 challenger. I would like any info on how to do it yourself. I would rather do it myself than paying.
Yes! I know you have to get all water out and maybe put a mist of oil in the cylinders. Just need the specifics. It seems seadoo is very stingy with the info.

I found one. I downloaded it. The prodcedure seems pretty easy, once you know what everything is and how it works. Time to study, and get tools and materials needed.

Hi Kevin, hi all,
Would you have a little more info on the Intercooler part of this process? Everything I read is about the fact that the open loop cooling system really needs to be done as it uses fresh water to cool down. Some mechanics told me that all you have to do is run the boat without any water for a few seconds to get the water out of it, and then send 100psi of air in the hose intake for a few seconds and you're done. Is that true?
Other says to pump in some antifreeze through the hose intake until it goes out from the exhaust...
Service manual says to remove both intercooler hoses, let it drain, spray a bit of pure antifreeze in the intercooler and exhaust manifold and reconnect and you're done... which is the most complicated...
I'm just not sure what to DOO ;-) please help!

Jon-X, what your mechanics said is exactly what mine said: last time for the season on the water dump some fuel stabilyzer in the tank and make sure it gets runs through the motor. Then upon trailering run the engine for approx 20 to 30 seconds, blipping the throttle occasionally, and this gets all the water out and what doesnt gets forced out "burns up" in the process. Put the battery on a minder when you get home and DONE! He did say that some people like to pull the fuel rail and "fog" the cylinders but it looks a little complicated and I hate to risk damage to seals etc in that area for that. I just start mine occasionally during the winter to keep things lubed. I also use SeaFoam fuel stabilyzer and it says right on it that it also lubricates and protects engine internals. Then of course I change the oil and filter in the spring pre-season.
Anyone else care to comment if this is correct?

I force antifreeze through the flush connection at the back of the boat...see youtube videos - search on "youtube how to winterize seadoo challenger 180" . There are 2 parts - prep/flushing
