Does anyone know of or have installed an aftermarket Intake Grate for a Challenger 180 SE? I see lots on the web for PWC and other sport boats but none for Seadoo Boats. I'm looking for some extra power when taking turns. I seem to suck air in some turns when pulling a towable.
If you have one please let me know where you got it and what you think of it.
Thanks

I dont think the market is big enough to sell a grate for our boat. Also the hull changes and ICS issues are a problem that manufacturers dont want to deal with.
I dont know that there will ever be one.
I have the same problem when towing heavy loads in chop, it cavitates briefly in sharp turns. Try getting some passengers in the bow and it will help keep the intake in the water.

I thought our intake grates were actually the same as the PWC grates, therefore an aftermarket grate for a 2008 doo should work on our boats no? I also dont see how it could negatively affect anything. Filling in the holes on the stock intake grate may help this slightly.
Or an after market impeller
