I recently picked up a 95 Speedster with the I think 697cc rotax twin cylinder engine. Initially it ran but smoked terribly. Cleaned out the fuel system, someone decided not to winterize properly and was adding oil to the fuel as well. It would run but die when you tried to accelerate. Now it will turn over but wont fire. I had a mechanic take a look at it, he since decided on a new line of work, and he determined that it may be the trigger coil. I don't have a manual so it's pretty well tracing wire and testing. Any ideas?
