Is this the correct oil for the supercharged motor? I called one dealership they say yes,called another they said no.

In the past the manuals said NO synthetics in superchargers.

This new synthetic blend says specifically on the bottle that it is OK for all supercharged motors.

It will be fine, but for gods sake if you have ceramic washers change them out. You will never have to worry about them again.

A FEW DAYS AGO I HAD THE SAME QUESTION FOR THE SAME BOAT.HERE IS THE ANSWEAR:
Mario, you have the last year of the ceramic washers however it doesn't matter, the semi synthetic was designed to work with all Sea Doo 4 stroke engines. Just make sure you don't use fully synthetic oil.

I WOULD LIKE YOUR ADVISE ABOUT THE BRP XPS 4 STROKE SEMI SYNTHETIC BLEND OIL PART # 293 600 121 .MY GREEK SEADOO DEALER SAYS THAT THE XPS 4 STROKE MINERAL OIL HAVE REPLACED FROM XPS 4STROKE SYNTHETIC BLEND SUMMER GRADE ABOVE PART # AND THIS IS NOT A FULLY SYNTHETIC BUT SYNTHETIC BLEND AND IS SAFE FOR THE SUPER CHARGER WASHERS.ALSO BEHIND THE BOX SAYS -WELL RECOMMENDED FOR THE WHOLE 4STROKE SEADOO WATERCRAFT LINE UP(NORMAL ASPIRATED OR SUPERCHARGED).
I OWN A CHALLENGER 180 SE 2008 YEAR MODEL (US-CEC18733K708)AND I DO NOT KNOW IF IT HAVE CERAMIC WASHERS OR METAL WASHERS .

Yes, it is. I spoke to the brp rep himself to confirm this. I was having the same issue. This will be the only oil that will be availible after the old stock is gone. I Just changed my 08 sc challengers oil with the new oil.
