yesterday I put my brand new 2008 seadoo challeger 180 se W/tower in with the family and run it about 12 to 15 minuites and then the oil light came on and the warning sound came on, so to get the oil light to go out and the warning sound to shut off I had to idle back to the dock ,witch was about 3 minuites and when I get home I look in the bilge it full of oil ,so I checked the dip stick nothing on it . I call the dealer and they say bring it in ,does anybody think that even scince it was still runnig ,did it do any damage to the motor and were could the engine be dumping all that oil from !I am bringing it in on monday and if it needs a new motor I am going to tell them I what a new boat even if he lets me talk to brp directly, this just sucks! has anybody ever heard of this happening!
That sounds like a huge stinking mess. Was it the first time you ever took it out? Maybe the factory forgot the oil pan plug. Even the filter is installed from the top.
Dealer dropped the ball on dealer prep it sounds like.
I cant imagine they will be able to clean the bilge out properly. That thing runs at 8 thousand rpm, it should be ok if you idled it back, but I wouldnt want to find out a year from now that you scored a cylinder wall or rod bearing. There is no way to find out for sure unless they do a complete tear down.

Or would the problem only be found by throttling up under load?
