I would think if you have a place for it in your gauges then your dealer should be able to install the depth finder and wire it up to the gauge.

What year is your Challenger? There a some minor differences in the SE model, in the '08 model there is a bimini top, snap-in carpet, depth finder w/ water temp etc.

There are four things that make a regular 2007 or 2008 180 a SE model, depth finder, bimini top, snap in carpet, and radio remote on the driver's side. These are NOT dealer installed, they come that way from the factory. There are other differences between the two in 2009. You can add a depth finderto a regular 180, the kit is expensive but it does wire into the existing harness and read on the gauge. A sport boat dealer will have to activate the sensor in B.U.D.S.

Thanks for the input. Really like to get the depth finder will look into getting one soon.
Don't know what the dealer will charge but you might consider a Lorane (or similar) type fishfinder/gps/depth finder instead. I just had one installed and not only does it give me depth and where the fishies are it also has detailed maps of thousands of lakes. Plus the other features like way points and alarms for depth etc etc. Its worth looking into. Cabelas installed for $200.
