Hi All,
Does anyone have any experience of draining 30 Gallons of 2 year old gas from their Speedster?
Before you ask - I didn't put it in there - it came with the boat. I would like to drain it before it goes for it's service.
I just need to know what to do.
Thankyou.
Marcus

Probably use a siphon. I don't think there are any issues with the fill tube that would prevent that.
I guess the hard part would be finding someplace to put 30 gallons of "bad" gas.

How about using it in your lawn mower?
Just a thought. A bunch of my fishing buddies suggsted that for my Sportster as well.

I know this is too old of a reply to help you but could help others. My 97 speedster too came with a half of tank when I bought it. A lot of water in there too. Enough to keep it from running. I removed the sending unit, top center of the tank and used a 12 volt cheap fuel pump to drain from the bottom of the tank with a hose, moving the hose to each of the three low spots, If you get the low spots sucked out you should be good. Also use the 12 volt fuel pump to pump both the lower hoses where they connect to the carbs. Pump the lines out on both normal and res settings on the fuel cut offs.
